Calvin Throckmorton Signs with Broncos – NBC Sports

On Monday, the Broncos made a move to strengthen their offensive line by signing guard Calvin Throckmorton to a one-year contract. The terms of the contract have not been disclosed at this time. Throckmorton will be joining Denver, where he will reunite with some familiar faces from his past.

Throckmorton was teammates with center Alex Forsyth at Oregon during their college days. Additionally, he played under Broncos head coach Sean Payton while with the Saints in 2020 and 2021. During his time with the Saints, Throckmorton appeared in 31 games and started 20 times.

After leaving the Saints, Throckmorton was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers last August. He went on to start seven games for the Panthers before ultimately being cut. Throckmorton finished out the season with the Titans before signing with the Broncos.

Overall, Throckmorton brings experience and familiarity with both his new teammates and coaching staff to Denver. His addition to the offensive line will provide depth and flexibility for the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
