Broncos set to ink deal with defensive tackle Angelo Blackson

The Denver Broncos have recently added another veteran defensive player to their roster. According to Mike Klis of 9News Denver, the team signed Angelo Blackson, who played for the Jaguars last season. In 11 games with Jacksonville, Blackson recorded a total of 13 tackles and three fumble recoveries.

Blackson has had a successful career in the NFL, playing under Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph in 2020 while he was with the Cardinals. During that season, Blackson recorded an impressive 24 total tackles, four tackles for loss, eight quarterback hits, and 2.5 sacks.

Originally drafted in the fourth round in 2015, Blackson has played in a total of 128 career games with 42 starts. Throughout his career, he has accumulated an impressive number of sacks, tackles for loss, and quarterback hits. With his experience and skill on the field, Blackson is sure to be a valuable addition to the Broncos defense.
