BRI&Va: Revolutionizing the Beauty Industry with Sustainable Packaging Technologies

TESEM Group introduces innovative technology to boost the shine of PCR aluminium

TESEM, a global leader in manufacturing aluminium and plastic components for various industries such as perfume and cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and spirits, has recently introduced a new technology called BRI&Va. This innovative technology is specifically designed to enhance the shine of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) aluminium, a sustainable material used in packaging.

After two years of intensive research and development, the patent-pending BRI&Va technology has been successfully developed. This technology ensures that high-percentage PCR aluminium can achieve a shine comparable to virgin anodized aluminium, enabling brands to maintain the luxurious look of glossy metal packaging.

TESEM emphasizes that BRI&Va technology encourages the use of high-content PCR aluminium, supporting clients’ sustainability goals. The company asserts that replacing virgin aluminium with 20% PCR aluminium can lead to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions by up to 78.9%.

Currently, the technology is in the process of scaling up, with TESEM working closely with luxury brand Chanel, which has shown interest in incorporating the BRI&Va technology. This cutting-edge solution will be showcased at TESEM’s booth during the upcoming LuxePack Monaco show, to be held from September 30 to October 2 this year.
