Visit the National Weather Service Office of Science and Technology Integration to Discover SPoRT

Recently, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Huntsville welcomed a visit from the NWS Office of Science and Technology Integration (OSTI). OSTI is responsible for managing and planning research projects for the NWS, as well as integrating technology across field offices. During their visit, OSTI leadership and management held discussions with NWS Huntsville about SPoRT, R2O projects, and partnerships within the NWS.

One of the main topics of discussion was the valuable role that SPoRT plays in transitioning NASA research to NWS offices. OSTI expressed appreciation for the successful integration of SPoRT products into NWS operations and expressed interest in continuing collaborative discussions and knowledge sharing on R2O/O2R projects.
