Bridge Building Excitement: Skyvue Students Break Record with Collaborative Science Project

On May 22, Skyvue students gathered for the annual Science Olympiad. Their goal was to work together on a collaborative project that would see them create a bridge made of straws that could hold “cars”. As they worked on their creation, excitement filled the room, with one student exclaiming in triumph, “We broke a record! We broke a record!”

Skyvue Science Teacher Neil Ritchie entered the room to observe their progress and was impressed by what he saw. The atmosphere in the room was one of celebration and accomplishment as students worked together to create something unique and functional. The energy in the room was contagious as they all worked towards a common goal.

This collaborative effort showcased the students’ teamwork and problem-solving skills, as well as their creativity and innovation. It also provided them with an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a hands-on and meaningful way. They were able to see the practical implications of what they had learned in the classroom and how it could be used to solve real-world problems.
