Today, we are excited to welcome co-founder of Pilot Project Brewing, Dan Abel and his banker, Tom Meyer of Centrust Bank to our studio. Pilot Project Brewing is a unique brewery incubator located in the Deer District at Milwaukee Brewing Company’s former site. The brewery features a large restaurant, beer garden, and rooftop, making it a one-of-a-kind destination for beer enthusiasts.
Pilot Project Brewing is dedicated to the art of brewing and building a community around craft beer. Originally starting in Chicago, the brewery expanded to Milwaukee in 2022 by purchasing the Milwaukee Brewing Company production facility on 9th Street. This new location provides 70,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space that serves as a playground for Pilot Project’s incubated brands and supports their national growth out of the Midwest.
In the expansion to Milwaukee, Pilot Project Brewing partnered with Centrust Bank as their finance partner. Centrust Bank is known for its expertise and strong relationships with commercial clients and small businesses, making them the perfect fit for supporting Pilot Project Brewing’s growth. As they continue to work together, the partnership between Pilot Project Brewing and Centrust Bank is set to help the brewery thrive in the competitive craft beer industry.
