Breaking World Records: The Humble Approach of Usain Bolt and Yohan Coleman.

Christian Coleman from the USA Anticipates Usain Bolt’s 100m World Record Being Broken in the Near Future

In 2009, Bolt set a new world record while competing at the World Championships in Berlin. Just a year before that, he had achieved another new world record of 9.69, only 2 months and 16 days after his first time at the top. His time of 9.72 in 2008 had been enough to make him the fastest man in the world, taking over from his fellow Jamaican runner Asafa Powell, whose time of 9.74 had held for 8 months and 22 days.

Despite Bolt’s impressive accomplishments, he remained humble and focused on continuing to improve his performance. He acknowledged that achieving a new world record was within reach but preferred to put all of his energy into training, practices, and upcoming meets. By focusing on continuous improvement and striving to get better, he believed that the faster times would naturally follow.

In comparison, Coleman has a personal best of 9.76 and believes that he can break the world record someday. However, he is cautious not to put too much pressure on himself or focus too much on being the one to surpass Bolt. Instead, he prefers to take things one step at a time and continue to work hard towards improving his performance.
