Breaking the Stigma: Mental Health Awareness Night at USPBL Diamond Hoppers vs. Birmingham Beavers Game

USPBL Hosts Mental Health Awareness Night

On Saturday, May 18th, 2024, the USPBL is hosting a special Mental Health Awareness Night at the Eastside Diamond Hoppers vs. Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers game. With nearly 1 in 5 American adults experiencing a mental illness in any given year, mental health is a significant issue that we must address head-on. By raising community awareness, we can reduce stigma and increase the chances for treatment or intervention. Join us in bringing awareness to Mental Health Awareness Month.

During the game, there will be special Mental Health Awareness programming on the Magic of Hope by Magician Anthony Grupido. Additionally, the first 500 fans will receive a FREE Mental Health Awareness T-shirt courtesy of Epoch Expressions. These shirts are perfect for raising awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental illness.

The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers will also be wearing specialty jerseys to bring attention to Mental Health Awareness. These jerseys will be available for purchase leading up to and after the game, with proceeds benefiting the Brendan Davis Memorial Foundation. The link to bid on these jerseys will be available soon. It’s a great opportunity to support a great cause while looking good doing it!

For Saturday’s doubleheader, you can purchase a $15.99 Double Play Saturday Ticket, which includes entry to both games for the price of one, a Salus Group Platinum Club Box Seat, a hot dog, and a soft drink. This ticket offer is an excellent way to enjoy a day of baseball while supporting a great cause that aims to raise awareness about mental health issues affecting Americans today.

Join us in making this event an unforgettable experience! Let’s work together to create more understanding and compassion towards those struggling with mental illnesses by supporting this initiative!
