Science and scientists often face criticism from those who view it as useless and boring, with scientists being stereotyped as awkward nerds. However, science can actually be exhilarating, fun, and satisfying. To showcase this side of science, Chris Reddy, a scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and Elizabeth Do, a librarian at Mullen Hall Elementary School, join us on The Point to discuss a new book titled “A Kids Book About Being a Scientist”. They also explore ways to encourage children to keep asking and answering those “why” questions.
