On Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers made an offer to Jakob Weatherspoon, a talented athlete from Avon, Ohio, in the class of 2026. Weatherspoon is the third athlete to receive an offer from the Badgers in recent weeks, along with Rico Blassingame and Sharroid Whitehead. Additionally, wide receiver Madden Williams received an offer from UW on the same day.
Weatherspoon stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 172 pounds and is a four-star athlete representing Avon High School in Ohio. He is ranked as the No. 16 athlete, the No. 7 recruit from Ohio, and the No. 196 overall recruit for the class of 2026 by 247Sports. Despite having already received 12 collegiate opportunities, some of his peers have received more offers.
