Breaking News: USC Trojans Extend Offer to Top-Ranked 2026 Quarterback Jared Curtis from Nashville Christian School (TN) – A Look at the Battle for His Signature

USC extends offer to top quarterback prospect Jared Curtis for 2026 season

On Friday, the USC Trojans officially extended an offer to quarterback Jared Curtis from Nashville Christian School (TN). Curtis, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound athlete, is considered the top quarterback in the 2026 class and the ninth-best player in the country according to 247Sports composite rankings. He has also received offers from other notable schools such as Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, and Texas.

In his sophomore season at Nashville Christian School, Curtis had an impressive year throwing for 2,522 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also displayed his running abilities by rushing for 543 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Recently, USC competed with Georgia for transfer quarterback Jayden Maiava from UNLV through the transfer portal. However, Maiava ultimately chose USC over Georgia.

Despite Curtis’s commitment to Georgia, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) predicts that Ohio State has a 52.8% chance of signing him in the future. With Jared Curtis now joining their ranks as part of their incoming quarterback class of 2026 alongside Ryder Lyons and Helaman Casuga from Utah, USC continues to build its talent pool for college football and NFL draft prospects.
