Wisconsin selects top 2025 linebacker Mason Posa for final schools

Mason Posa, a highly sought-after linebacker from New Mexico, has included Wisconsin in his top three schools for the class of 2025. On Wednesday, it was announced that the Badgers were among Posa’s top choices alongside Oregon and Texas A&M. Posa is ranked as the No. 154 player in the class of 2025, the No. 18 linebacker, and the No. 1 recruit from his home state of New Mexico.

Posa has official visits scheduled to Wisconsin on May 31, Oregon on June 7, and Texas A&M on June 14. He is considered one of the top prospects that the Badgers will be focusing on during their official visits this weekend. As of now, Posa has yet to receive a crystal ball prediction for his landing spot.

Wisconsin will kick off a month of official visits starting this weekend, May 31 to June 2. Top prospects including Posa, four-star edge Jayden Woods, and four-star cornerback Mason Alexander are set to visit. The Badgers’ class of 2025 is currently ranked No. 19 in the nation with 11 committed players, a number that is expected to rise as visits continue throughout June.
