Breaking News: Enzo Maresca to be Unveiled as Chelsea’s New Manager with Assistant Willy Caballero and Entourage.

Maresca set to be announced today

Today, Chelsea will unveil Enzo Maresca as their new manager. The 44-year-old Italian has finalized most of the paperwork for his move to Stamford Bridge on a five-year contract with an option for an additional 12 months. Maresca will be joined by six members of his staff, including former Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero as his assistant.

One of Maresca’s staff members, coach Danny Walker, previously worked with him at Manchester City’s academy. The rest of the staff are expected to include goalkeeper coach Michele De Bernardin, fitness coach Marcos Alvarez, and youth development coach Roberto Vitiello. The process of securing Maresca took some time due to negotiations over compensation fees and legal paperwork causing delays.

Initially, an announcement was expected on Friday, but it was postponed until Monday to allow club lawyers more time to draft the necessary documents. In addition to the appointment of Maresca, Chelsea have also agreed to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo over the weekend. An announcement regarding his move is anticipated later this week.
