A business owner in North Buffalo has been ordered to halt all operations by the City of Buffalo’s Department of Permit and Inspection Services, following a visit from police who discovered a large crowd gathered around the establishment at 1783 Hertel Ave. near Vorhees Avenue on a Saturday at around 2:30 a.m. The agency cited the business for operating without a license. The owner was issued citations for several violations, including running an illegal speakeasy, employing an unregistered bouncer, and consuming alcohol in public places.
