The Texas Longhorns are currently ranked No. 12 in the 2025 recruiting class with seven four-stars and three three-stars already committed. Steve Sarkisian and his team are hoping to break into the top five recruiting rankings next season. They have made a quick start in the class, with one five-star and 16 four-stars.
Recently, CB Caleb Chester from Missouri City, Texas, chose Texas over other schools like Arkansas, Florida State, and Texas A&M. Standing at 6’2″ and weighing 175 pounds, Chester has a promising frame for a corner. Sarkisian’s staff may work on adding more weight to him before he joins the team on campus. With his commitment, the Longhorns’ recruiting class now includes depth for their secondary position.
