One player who could make a significant impact if given regular at-bats is Miguel Vargas of the Dodgers. He has already posted a .324/.385/.529 in his 39 plate appearances and has shown promise as a potential major league starter. Whether he gets time at third base or in left field, Vargas could contribute significantly to the Dodgers’ lineup if given the chance.

It’s also worth noting that Xavier Edwards of the Marlins continues to impress in Triple-A with a .330 batting average. Despite this, he remains without a chance in the big leagues, which is surprising given his potential as one of the Marlins’ top five hitters at this point in time.
