Brandon Ragle Takes Home State Leadership of the Year Award from StateScoop 50 Awards for Second Consecutive Year

Brandon Ragle from Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology honored by StateScoop and KBSI Fox 23 Cape Girardeau News

Brandon Ragle, the Acting Deputy Secretary and Deputy State Chief Information Officer at the Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), was recently recognized by StateScoop for his leadership and accomplishments in information technology. This marks the second consecutive year he has received this honor. The StateScoop 50 Awards, now in their eleventh year, acknowledge the most influential individuals in the state government IT community, as well as the most innovative projects that enhance government operations and citizen services.

This year, leaders and projects from 25 states, along with executives from 13 companies, were celebrated. Ragle was presented with the State Leadership of the Year award for his contributions to helping the government implement new technologies, strategies, and IT programs. In response to receiving this recognition, Ragle expressed his gratitude and highlighted the significant milestones achieved by the DoIT team in the past year, attributing them to their commitment to innovation. He emphasized the agency’s mission of utilizing technology to better serve the residents of Illinois.

Ragle previously received a Golden Gov award from StateScoop for his role in leading the state government into a new technology landscape with fresh ideas and motivating others to embrace change.
