The Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency is hosting a Lunch and Learn event next week to help veterans who struggle with technology. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Human Service Complex, Room 120, in Montour Falls. This event is open to veterans and their families, and certified IT professionals will be on hand to provide assistance with cell phones, laptops, and other technology. Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
To register for the event, interested individuals can call the Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency office at 607-535-2091 or on their cell phone at 607-228-7624. The Lunch and Learn is part of the Dwyer Peer Support Project, a program created to connect veterans with peers in a supportive environment and help each other navigate the challenges of PTSD and brain injury.
In addition to this event, the United Way’s annual Diaper Drive is returning to the Southern Tier. For more news, weather, sports, and streaming video, visit WETM – MyTwinTiers.com.
