Bologna Striker Zirkzee’s Transfer to Milan Stalls, Leaving Juventus with a Potential Advantage

Zirkzee: Milan in danger from Thiago Motta’s Juventus

Juventus may soon swoop in and snatch Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee from Milan, as the Rossoneri struggle to finalize a deal for the Dutchman. Zirkzee has expressed his intention to join Milan, with a €40m release clause that would activate on July 1st. However, disagreements between Milan and Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, over agent fees and commissions have left an opening for Juventus.

Thiago Motta, who led Bologna to impressive results under his management, is keen on reuniting with Zirkzee at Juventus. The club’s director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is actively working to capitalize on this opportunity and sees Zirkzee as a potential complement to Dusan Vlahovic in their new tactical system.

Milan is in a challenging position as they search for a suitable striker that can meet Paulo Fonseca’s requirements of being more clinical and decisive in front of goal. The uncertainty surrounding the Zirkzee negotiations adds further complexity to this already challenging situation.
