Boise State University Honors Retiring Faculty and Staff Members with Special Event

April 9 Celebration Honoring Retiring Faculty and Staff of the College of Health Sciences

The College of Health Sciences at Boise State University is saying goodbye to five esteemed faculty and staff members who are retiring in the spring of 2024. The retirees being honored are Sarah Toevs, Shelle Poole, Tim Kempf, Olgie Castillo, and Shawn Dunnagan.

To celebrate their years of dedication and service to the university, a special event will be held on Tuesday, April 9 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Bishop Barnwell Room of the Student Union. The entire campus community is invited to join in recognizing and appreciating these individuals for their contributions to Boise State.

Olgie Castillo, who has served as a management assistant in the Department of Kinesiology for 16 years, is one of the retirees being honored. Additionally, Shawn Dunnagan, a lecturer III in the School of Public and Population Health with 13 years of service, will also be recognized.

Tim Kempf, a clinical associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology, is retiring after 19 years of service to Boise State. Shelle Poole, a divisional dean and clinical associate professor in the School of Nursing, has dedicated 13 years to the university.
