The aerospace manufacturer has leased additional offices within Freeport Business Center I for its Boeing Global Services supply chain employees as its aftermarket business continues to grow.
In recent years, Boeing has shifted its base of operations from Chicago to Arlington, Virginia. Despite considering a move to Dallas in the past, the company ultimately chose Chicago as its headquarters in 2001. However, the company’s strong presence in North Texas remains intact with the headquarters of its Global Services division located in Plano at Legacy West.
The Class A office building, situated in Irving’s Las Colinas area, underwent renovations in 2022 to upgrade its lobby and common areas. Boeing has a significant role to play in developing top executives such as Stan Deal and Stephanie Pope who were recently promoted to chief operating officer and head of the commercial segment respectively.
