Bloom into Support for Agriculture: The Annual Plant Sale at St. Vrain Valley Schools

Career Elevation and Technology Center Annual Plant Sale offers Over 40,000 Plants

The annual plant sale held by the Career Elevation and Technology Center is a beloved community tradition that supports the Agricultural Sciences program at St. Vrain Valley Schools. This event is a culmination of the year-long efforts of agriscience students who have cultivated over 40,000 plants to be featured in the sale.

The program’s focus is on providing students with hands-on experience and leadership development in agricultural careers. By attending the plant sale, attendees can support the Agricultural Sciences program by purchasing plants grown by students. The proceeds from the sale directly fund soil, field trips, and learning opportunities for students.

The 2024 Plant Sale will take place on May 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from May 6 to May 10 (or until sold out) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The location of the sale will be at the Career Elevation and Technology Center, located at 1200 South Sunset St. Visitors can follow signs in the parking lot to the greenhouse located southeast of the building where they can select from a wide variety of plants such as annual bedding plants, geraniums, hanging baskets, patio planters, herbs, vegetables, perennials, succulents, and house plants. Payment for the plants can only be made with cash or check during this time-limited opportunity to support agriculture education in St Vrain Valley Schools
