Blast off into Space with Houston’s ‘Space Explorers: The Infinite’!

Houston Welcomes ‘The Infinite’ for an Otherworldly Experience

Houston welcomes back ‘Space Explorers: The Infinite’ experience, giving guests the chance to explore a virtual life-size replica of the International Space Station. This time around, visitors can expect new elements that make them feel closer to outer space than ever before. One of the exciting new features is the opportunity to watch footage from NASA’s Artemis I launch on November 16, 2022.

As soon as patrons enter the experience, they will be greeted with an expanded “launch” element that includes LED lighting and a “haze” effect to simulate the firing up of a rocket ship. After completing the hour-long experience and removing their VR headsets, guests will pass through a room featuring Japanese visual artist Ryoji Ikeda’s art piece, The Universe Within the Universe.

For those interested in experiencing ‘Space Explorers: The Infinite,’ tickets and more information can be found online. The immersive installation is currently open to the public at Silver Street Studios at Sawyer Yards. Lauren Kelly spoke with Eric Albert, Co-CEO of Infinity Experiences, about this incredible experience in a video interview available on KPRC Click2Houston’s website.
