Big 12 Preview: Colorado Buffaloes’ Challenging Schedule Includes Oklahoma State and Utah

As the Colorado Buffaloes prepare to kick off their welcome-back season in the Big 12 Conference, they face a challenging schedule ahead. In their first game of the season, the Buffs will take on Football Championship Subdivision powerhouse North Dakota State before heading out on the road to face two rival opponents. The month of November looks particularly difficult for the Buffs, with Oklahoma State and Utah identified as their toughest regular season opponents.

Ralphie Report writer Rylan Scholes recently ranked the most difficult games on CU’s upcoming schedule. He named Oklahoma State as the Buffs’ toughest opponent, just ahead of Utah. Oklahoma State had a 10-4 record last season and lost in the Big 12 championship game. They return ten starters on both offense and defense this year, making them a strong contender in the Big XII conference. The upcoming season is crucial for Oklahoma State, and they will need to overcome their challenge in Boulder if they hope to establish themselves as the top team in the conference.
