Chase Brown Prioritizes His Health to Prepare for Expanded Role in Cincinnati

Bengals running back Chase Brown is looking forward to an increased workload in the upcoming 2024 season, now that Joe Mixon has left the team. To prepare for this opportunity, Brown has dedicated his offseason to getting his body in top shape. He is currently in a competition with Zack Moss for the starting running back position on the Bengals roster and wants to make sure he is ready for any role or task that comes his way.

To enhance his performance, Brown has made the decision to invest in his own well-being by enlisting the help of professionals. He has a trainer, physical therapist, and masseur lined up to support him by visiting his home multiple times a week. Brown emphasized the importance of learning from past challenges and using that knowledge to elevate his performance in his second year with the Bengals.

During his time in college at Illinois, Brown demonstrated his ability to handle a heavy workload, carrying the ball 328 times for 1,643 yards in his senior season. While he may not receive as many opportunities in Cincinnati as he did in college, Brown remains determined to be prepared for any role or task that the Bengals assign him during the upcoming season.
