Bengals Extend Contract of Reliable OL Ted Karras, Securing Offensive Line for Upcoming Season

Ted Karras inks one-year deal to stay with Bengals

Ted Karras has extended his time with the Bengals by signing a one-year extension on top of the three-year deal he signed as a free agent in 2022. Since joining the team, Karras has been a consistent starter, appearing in all 33 regular season games and three postseason matchups. Prior to joining the Bengals, Karras had stints with both the Patriots and the Dolphins, starting a total of 33 games with the former and 16 games with the latter.

The Bengals announced Karras’s extension on Thursday, securing their offensive line for the upcoming season. While there has been much speculation about potential contract extensions for wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, it seems Karras was the first to get his deal done. His reliability and experience make him a valuable asset to the team, and the Bengals are looking to build on their success from last season. With Karras locked in for another year, the Bengals are hoping for continued success on the field.
