Belgian Winger Alexis Saelemaekers in High Demand: Atalanta, Juventus, and Torino Eyeing Possible Signing

Atalanta Contemplates Signing Saelemaekers as Milan Recall Looms

Atalanta is reportedly considering a move for Alexis Saelemaekers this summer after his return to Milan. The 24-year-old Belgian winger impressed under Thiago Motta by scoring four goals and providing three assists in 30 Serie A matches while on loan with Bologna. However, Bologna decided not to sign Saelemaekers following Vincenzo Italiano’s appointment as manager, leading to his return to Milan.

Both Torino and Juventus are also reportedly considering making a move for Saelemaekers, as he is not expected to feature in Paulo Fonseca’s plans for the upcoming season. Atalanta is keen on acquiring the winger and may contact Milan soon to discuss a potential deal. Saelemaekers is reportedly valued at €10-12m and earns around €1m net per season.

Atalanta views Saelemaekers as a more affordable alternative to Galatasaray’s Nicolo Zaniolo, who would cost closer to €18-20m. The club is eager to reinforce its squad for the upcoming season and sees Saelemaekers as a viable option to bolster their attacking options.
