Becky Lynch will challenge Liv Morgan for the women’s world championship on Monday’s episode of Raw. The match is taking place inside a steel cage, with a special stipulation in place to prevent any interference that could affect the outcome.
Liv Morgan won the title at King and Queen of the Ring by defeating Becky Lynch, using a chair thrown into the ring by Dominik Mysterio to secure her victory. Following the match, Lynch vowed to invoke her rematch clause during a backstage promo.
The steel cage stipulation is intended to prevent any outside interference from affecting the outcome of the match. After Rhea Ripley vacated the title due to injury, Lynch won a battle royal to become the champion for the fifth time. This unexpected win has extended the feud between Lynch and Morgan until Ripley is ready to return.
Monday’s match could be either the climax of their rivalry or set up a final grudge match between Lynch and Morgan at Clash at Castle event on June 15 in Glasgow, Scotland. Tune in to Ring Rust Radio for more wrestling news and updates.
