Beacon Health to Construct Outpatient Center in Downtown Mishawaka – Inside INdiana Business

In downtown Mishawaka, Beacon Health System has announced plans to build a $21.7 million outpatient center this summer. The facility will be located at Lincoln Way East and Church Street, across from the Mishawaka Public Library. The two-story, 25,500-square-foot facility will offer a wide range of services and will include Beacon Medical Group primary care and select specialty physicians.

On the main level, the facility will feature physical therapy services while advanced imaging services will be available on the upper level. Exam and procedure rooms will also be included in the facility’s design. This new location reflects the increasing demand for patient care that is convenient and accessible.

Diane Maas, Chief Strategy and Digital Growth Officer at Beacon, expressed her excitement about the project stating that it will provide essential healthcare services to residents while revitalizing a key corner of the city. Mayor Dave Wood also expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that it will not only meet the needs of residents but also contribute to the growth of downtown Mishawaka.

The demolition of the former PNC Bank branch and Mishawaka Utilities business office building on site is set to begin in early August with construction starting soon after. The new facility is expected to open in early 2026, providing patients with easy access to outpatient services without having to travel long distances.
