Health officials have issued a water quality advisory for beachgoers in parts of Miami-Dade County. Due to elevated levels of bacteria, people are being advised to avoid the water at Oleta State Park in North Miami Beach, Surfside, and Collins Park in Miami Beach until the water is deemed safe for swimming. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
