Bayern’s Interest in Calhanoglu: Fact or Rumor?

Bayern Munich Has Not Made a Formal Offer for Inter Milan Star

Despite recent reports from German and Turkish media suggesting that Bayern Munich is interested in signing midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu from Inter Milan, the German giants have not yet made a formal offer to the club. According to Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, Bayern’s interest in Calhanoglu has not been officially confirmed.

Bayern’s interest in Calhanoglu comes as they look to rebuild their midfield under new coach Vincent Kompany. After finishing second in the Bundesliga last season, Bayern is determined to reclaim the title.

Calhanoglu has been playing in Italian football for seven years and has shown significant growth during his time in Serie A. He started out as a winger or attacking midfielder at AC Milan before transitioning into a box-to-box role over the years. When Inter signed Calhanoglu last year, he was brought in to replace Christian Eriksen after the latter’s health emergency at the Euros.

Despite Bayern’s interest, there has not yet been any concrete offers made by the club for Calhanoglu, according to Corriere della Sera. However, Inter is aware of Bayern’s interest and is keeping a close eye on developments.
