Bartlesville Radio Sports Coverage

Bartlesville High School’s baseball team faced a tough loss in the 6A Regionals, ending their two-game win streak against Union. The Bruins put up a strong fight, but struggled to match Union’s offensive firepower. Despite their efforts, Bartlesville was defeated 6-1 in an elimination game.

Throughout the game, Bartlesville battled hard but were unable to capitalize on opportunities. The Redhawks scored three runs in the third inning and added single runs later in the game, maintaining their lead. Bartlesville’s only run came in the sixth inning when they had the bases loaded and one out, but were unable to score.

Pitchers Kaden Romesburg and Grant Clark gave Bartlesville a chance to compete, with Romesburg pitching two scoreless innings at the beginning of the game and making a crucial double play with the bases loaded in the third inning. Despite their efforts, Bartlesville fell short in the end.

As the season comes to a close, Bartlesville will say goodbye to five seniors but will retain two of their top three starting pitchers and several underclassmen in the lineup. The team finished the year with a record of 13-22. Despite the disappointing end, the Bruins can look back on their accomplishments with pride as they prepare for next season.
