Bartlesville Bruins Prepare for State Tournament Showdown: Can They Overcome Choctaw and Become Champions?

Bartlesville’s slow pitch softball team is preparing for the 6A State Tournament, which will take place on Tuesday morning. They will face off against Choctaw in the first round of the eight-team single-elimination tournament. Two senior players, Allie Scullawl and Chelsea Goddard, have played a key role in leading the team to postseason success.

Scullawl serves as Bartlesville’s everyday pitcher, while both players have been performing well at the plate. Head coach Kyle Minton is confident in his senior leaders and their abilities to lead the team through this important tournament. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining their current level of play as they head into the Final 8.

The game will start at 10:00 am at OG&E Field at USA Hall of Fame Stadium. Choctaw, with a record of 25-3 on the season, will be a tough challenge for Bartlesville. If they win, Bartlesville will move on to face the winner of Moore and Mustang at 1:00 pm. However, if they lose, their season will come to an end. The stakes are high for Bartlesville as they look to continue their successful season and advance in the state tournament.

Bartlesville has been playing well lately, especially with their impressive wins over Owasso in the Regional tournament to secure their spot at state. They have been focused on improving their game and taking it one step further towards becoming champions.

Coach Minton has been guiding his team through this journey with great patience and dedication. He believes that with hard work and discipline, his players can achieve anything they set their minds to.

As Bartlesville prepares for this big game against Choctaw, they know that it won’t be easy. But they are ready for any challenge that comes their way.

Their season has already been a success despite facing some tough opponents along the way. With their seniors leading the way and coach Minton by their side, there is no doubt that Bartlesville can make it all the way to becoming state champions.

It’s going to be an exciting game for both teams as they fight for a spot in the next round of competition. The Bruins have come too far to give up now!
