Sanders, who played ten seasons with the Detroit Lions from 1989 to 1998, is widely regarded as one of the greatest NFL players of all time. Despite his retirement in 1999, Sanders remains a beloved figure in Detroit and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2004.
