Awards Season Looms as NBA Finalizes Team Player and Sportsmanship Award Nominees

NBA reveals nominees for Teammate of the Year and Sportsmanship Award

As the NBA season winds down, anticipation for awards season is on the rise. The league has announced the finalists for the Teammate of the Year Award and Sportsmanship Award, both of which are chosen by current players.

This year, reigning Teammate of the Year Jrue Holiday was not among the nominees, but there are still plenty of impressive players vying for the award. The list includes Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Al Horford, T.J. McConnell and more. These players are recognized for their selfless play, leadership on and off the court, and commitment to being a mentor and role model to others in the league.

The reigning Sportsmanship Award winner Mike Conley was also not among this year’s nominees. However, there are still several standout players vying for this prestigious award. The finalists include Tyrese Maxey, Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Tre Jones and Harrison Barnes from the Kings. It’s worth noting that Harrison Barnes is actually nominated for both awards this year – highlighting his reputation as a good teammate and embodying the ideals of sportsmanship on the court.
