On Saturday, March 23, the Aurora African American Health Coalition hosted its 17th annual health fair at the Prisco Community Center in Aurora. The event was open to the public and featured various vendor information booths, free health screenings with physicians and nurses available to address general health inquiries, children’s activities, a light breakfast, and snacks.
A representative from the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois provided information at the fair, joining other vendors such as Mutual Ground Inc. and the Family Service Association of Greater Elgin. The fair offered attendees a valuable opportunity to learn about health resources and services while engaging in a fun and informative environment.
