Army, Guard and Police Work Together in Search for Missing Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s Helicopter

Tehran is utilizing all resources in search for Iranian president, calls for patience and prayers.

On Sunday, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, issued a directive for all resources to be mobilized in the search for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s helicopter. Bagheri emphasized the need for all capabilities of the army, Revolutionary Guard, and police to be utilized in search and rescue efforts. The armed forces have been actively involved in the search since the incident occurred.

In response to this directive, four teams were dispatched to the coordinates of the helicopter’s landing site. However, due to challenging weather conditions and limited access to the area, the search operation has been proving difficult. Drones or helicopters have not been able to assist in the search.

Government spokesperson Bahadari Jahormi acknowledged that finding new information about President Raisi’s helicopter accident is challenging due to its remote location and adverse weather conditions. He urged patience and faith in relief groups involved.

The search and rescue operation continues with a focus on utilizing all available resources to locate President Raisi’s helicopter and its occupants. Despite public desire for updates on this matter, no new information is currently available due to these circumstances.
