Armenia Celebrates Independence Day: PM Pashinyan Congratulates President Biden on U.S. Bicentennial

Pashinyan congratulates Biden as the Republic of Armenia acknowledges US role in peace process.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan extended his congratulations to President Joe Biden on the United States’ 248th Independence Day. In a message, Pashinyan emphasized the universal values of freedom, justice, and democracy that were instrumental in the creation of the U.S. and continue to be a source of inspiration worldwide. He praised the ideas enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and their enduring impact.

Furthermore, Pashinyan expressed Armenia’s support for the U.S.’s role in promoting peace in the region and thanked the country for its assistance in upholding Armenia’s sovereignty, independence, democracy, territorial integrity, and border security as per the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration. The Prime Minister reiterated Armenia’s commitment to pursuing peace agenda and fostering strong bilateral relations with Washington.

Pashinyan expressed confidence that continued partnership between Yerevan and Washington would contribute to a peaceful and prosperous future for both nations and the region. He underscored how these shared values are crucial for maintaining regional stability and ensuring mutual prosperity for years to come.
