Apple’s “Find My” feature: Making sure your devices stay in line.

The meticulousness of Apple displayed in the Pencil Pro: An Unexpected Focus on Detail

Apple unveiled the new M4 iPad Pro and iPad Air at its “Let Loose” event on May 7, along with the Apple Pencil Pro. One of the most exciting new features of the Pencil Pro was revealed in a viral TikTok video by designer Oliur. The video showcased how, when selecting a fountain pen tool, a shadow of the pen could be seen on the iPad screen as the designer wrote with the Pencil Pro.

Oliur described this feature as “ridiculous and over the top, but just so Apple.” It’s unclear if this feature is limited to graphic-design software like Procreate, where the Pencil Pro allows users to access a range of tools by pressing the barrel of the stylus. However, what is clear is that this attention to detail highlights Apple’s commitment to delivering innovative and user-friendly products.

In addition to this unique feature, users can also squeeze the Apple Pencil Pro to open a tool palette on the new iPads. This feature is sure to make writing and drawing even more intuitive and enjoyable for users. The new Apple Pencil Pro starts at $129 and is compatible with the “Find My” app. While Apple has yet to comment on this feature specifically, it showcases their dedication to creating products that go above and beyond customer expectations.
