Apple Vision Pro AR Headset to Incorporate Intelligent AI System in Future Release

Bloomberg: Apple’s Intelligence Coming to Vision Pro Headset

Apple has announced that it plans to introduce its new Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence (AI) system into its Vision Pro augmented reality headset. The initial rollout of this technology will only be available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems. Apple Intelligence is an ecosystem capable of understanding actions between applications or language, creating personalized images or emojis with different styles. This technology aims to offer users an intuitive, integrated, and private experience.

During the annual Conference for developers (WWDC), Apple’s Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi, revealed that Apple Intelligence would be arriving on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman also shared that the technology will eventually be integrated into the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality (AR) headset in the future. Although this integration will not happen this year, it signifies a step towards creating a seamless and personalized user experience across its products.

To integrate the ecosystem into the glasses, Apple will need to expand the memory of the device from 16 GB to accommodate features like writing tools, ChatGPT, and notification prioritization. The company is currently working on a second generation of the Apple Vision Pro and developing AR glasses that will be released in the coming years. As it continues to focus on making its devices more intuitive and user-friendly by leveraging artificial intelligence technology, this move represents another major milestone in its quest to create a seamless and personalized user experience across all its products.
