Anthony Joshua Eager to Face Tyson Fury: Let’s Get the Fight On While We’re Fresh

Joshua will not be idle while waiting for Fury

Anthony Joshua is eager to fight Tyson Fury, but he doesn’t want to wait too long for the match. Joshua has a title fight scheduled against Daniel Dubois on September 21 at Wembley Stadium, while Fury is set to rematch Oleksandr Usyk in December. If both fighters win their upcoming fights, a blockbuster undisputed fight between them could be in the works.

Joshua wants to get the fight with Fury done sooner rather than later, saying, “Let’s just get the fight on while we’re fresh – how many wars do I have to have before I get to Fury? Let’s go.” Negotiations for the super-fight have been ongoing for years, but with new investment in boxing by Saudi Arabia, there is renewed hope that it might finally happen.

Throughout his career, Joshua has faced criticism, but he remains confident in his abilities. He says, “The only time it’s over for me, at any level, is when I say it is.” He is focused on his upcoming fight against Dubois and determined to become a three-time champion. Joshua respects Dubois as a fighter and recognizes him as a formidable opponent. Despite being the favorite to win against Dubois, he isn’t underestimating him and preparing for a tough battle at Wembley Stadium in front of over 90,000 fans.
