Angels of Assisi in Roanoke, Virginia is a busy animal shelter with an exciting schedule ahead. In an interview with 7@Four, Carol Jesse, the Director of Development, shared information about their upcoming events and services.
One of their most anticipated events is the Pet Health Fair Mobile Clinic, which will be held at the Berglund Center on Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This clinic offers a range of affordable services for cats and dogs, including well pet exams for $10, sick pet exams for $20 plus the cost of medication, and various vaccines, nail trims, microchipping, flea and tick medications for $10 each.
For those interested in adopting a pet, Angels of Assisi will be hosting late night adoptions every Friday in June from 6 to 8 p.m. This is a great opportunity for night owls to find their new furry friend. Additionally, pets that are featured on WDBJ7 have a special adoption fee, so keep an eye out for those promotions.
With its variety of events and services available, Angels of Assisi is dedicated to helping animals find loving homes and providing them with the care they need. Stay tuned for more updates on their events and adoption opportunities.
