Angel Reese has already made history in the WNBA through her first five games as a professional player. The 6-foot-3 forward for the Chicago Sky has become the second player in league history to record 24 offensive rebounds in her first five games. This accomplishment is not surprising considering Reese’s success in college, where she ranked fifth all-time in NCAAW history for offensive rebounds and 16th all-time in total rebounds.
On Tuesday against the Seattle Storm, Reese recorded her first career double-double, following in the footsteps of Sky legend Sylvia Fowles. Her performance was impressive, and it showed that she is capable of achieving great things in the WNBA.
The Sky will be back in action on Thursday at Wintrust Arena, where Reese will face off against another star rookie, Cameron Brink of the Los Angeles Sparks.
