AMC Theatres Appoints Vice President of Distribution, Expands Music Industry Collaborations and Brings Top Artists to the Big Screen

Stephanie Tierney, Fandango Veteran, Joins AMC Theatres’ New Distribution Business

AMC Theatres is expanding its presence in the film industry with the appointment of Stephanie Tierney as Vice President of Distribution. This decision was inspired by the unprecedented success of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, both of which were distributed by AMC Theatres.

Tierney, a veteran of Fandango, will collaborate with the music industry to create new projects and marketing campaigns that enhance fan engagement. During her time at Fandango, she led the integrated marketing team and worked closely with various partners to drive consumer awareness and ticket sales. Prior to Fandanga, she held marketing roles with various brands, including Sundance Institute, Film Independent, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Los Angeles Clippers, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

In another development for AMC’s distribution venture, Kevin Arnold has been promoted to Vice President of Programming Promotions & Partnerships. His goal is to bring more top music artists to the big screen through AMC Theatres Distribution. This move represents a shift from the traditional Hollywood studio system and represents an exciting new chapter for AMC as they continue to expand their presence in the film industry.
