All the Difference: IU Health Foundation’s Statewide Campaign to Improve Indiana’s Health

IU Health introduces ‘All The Difference’ initiative in west central Indiana – Inside INdiana Business

In west central Indiana, the IU Health Foundation has launched a new campaign called “All the Difference: The Campaign for Indiana’s Health.” This campaign is part of a statewide fundraising effort to make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the country.

The initiative aims to fund hospital-based initiatives that will help Hoosiers avoid and treat illness and injury. Programs addressing social factors that contribute to poor health will also be eligible for funding. The campaign will run through 2027 and has set a statewide goal of $200 million in funds.

Individuals and institutions are being encouraged to donate towards cardiovascular care, workforce development, cancer care, orthopedics, neuroscience, infant and maternal health improvement. Gary Henriott, chair of the IU Health Foundation’s board, emphasized that achieving the vision of making Indiana healthier will require collaboration from everyone who cares about west central Indiana.

Crystal Miller, president of IU Health Foundation highlighted that philanthropy plays an important role in enabling them to innovate, stretch further, accelerate implementation, take risks and provide the best care for Hoosiers. According to IU Health, Indiana currently ranks in the bottom 10 for state government public health spending.
