Alex Leatherwood, an experienced offensive lineman, has returned to the AFC West after signing with the Chargers. The details of his contract were not made public by the team. Prior to joining the Chargers, Leatherwood was originally drafted by the Raiders in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft and played in every regular season and playoff game as a rookie, starting four games at right tackle and 14 at right guard.

Despite being waived by the Raiders after training camp in 2022, Leatherwood went on to play four games for the Bears that same season.
