Air Force and the Mountain West Conference Join Forces with TNT Sports for Exposure

Mountain West teams up with TNT Sports and Max to broadcast football games starting this upcoming fall season

The Mountain West conference, well-known for its iconic moments like the Red Wedding and Tony Soprano, has added a new partner to its roster: Air Force and coach Troy Calhoun. The conference announced a multiyear agreement with TNT Sports on Monday that will bring games to truTV and Max, providing even more exposure for Mountain West football.

As part of the deal, Air Force will have one of their games broadcast on TNT Sports during the 2024 season. The Falcons will kickoff at 5 p.m. on Oct. 12 against New Mexico. The rest of Air Force’s games were previously selected by other networks. This agreement marks the return of college football to TNT Sports, with truTV being a part of the network. Both TNT Sports and Max are subsidiaries of Warner Bros. Entertainment.

Raphael Poplock, senior vice president of acquisitions, business development, and partnerships at TNT Sports expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will expand live sports programming on truTV and provide exposure for Mountain West and its student-athletes. The addition of college football to Max’s sports lineup, which includes MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA basketball among others, will offer fans a diverse range of sports content.

Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez highlighted the significance of adding a third national television partner through TNT Sports, noting the exposure it will provide for the conference and college football fans across the country. While financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the partnership is expected to benefit both the Mountain West and TNT Sports equally.

The announcement of the 2024 Air Force football schedule accompanied this news as well as a mix of games scheduled to be broadcast on various networks.

Fans can look forward to watching Air Force face off against teams like San Jose State
