Kyle Larson is set to lead the pack at Richmond Raceway on Sunday night, with a pole-winning lap of 120.332 mph. This marks his 17th career Cup pole and his first of the season. Larson’s success in qualifying comes despite being slowest in practice.

Despite being slowest in practice, Ross Chastain managed to secure third place with a lap of 120.059 mph. Alex Bowman finished behind him with a lap of 119.846 mph, while Bubba Wallace was fourth with a lap of 119.846 mph as well. Todd Gilliland and Martin Truex Jr., who were fifth and sixth respectively, also made it into the second round of qualifying.

Ty Gibbs and Austin Cindric followed closely behind in seventh and eighth place, while Joey Logano finished tenth with a lap of 119.467 mph. Denny Hamlin qualified in eleventh place, while Chris Buescher secured the fourteenth starting position for the race that will begin at 7:15 p.m ET on Fox, with pre-race coverage starting on FS1 at 5:30 p
