Dr. Martha Hart and AEW owner Tony Khan announced on Sunday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view pre-show that the winners of the Men’s and Women’s Tournaments in the 2024 edition of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will receive AEW World title shots at August’s All In pay-per-view event at Wembley Stadium in London on August 25.
The tournaments will be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on July 10, as confirmed by Khan. AEW has not yet announced the start dates or participants for this year’s tournaments.
This will be the third consecutive year that AEW is hosting tournaments in honor of Owen Hart. The inaugural tournaments in 2022 were won by Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, while the 2023 winners were Ricky Starks and Willow Nightingale.
Fans can look forward to an exciting lineup of participants and matches in this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, with the added bonus of title shots for the winners at the prestigious All In pay-per-view event in August.
