Pak Kyong Su, Deputy Director-General of the DNTA, stated today that the agency will continue to pursue plans in this direction, based on the Workers’ Party’s mandate and the state’s strategic interests. Over the past decade, the agency has ensured the multifunctional character and high efficiency of an artificial Earth satellite and solved various technical problems related to the control and operation of the satellite.
Considerable progress has been made in the introduction of technologies for defense, economy, and improving the livelihood of population. Pak Kyong Su also highlighted that Malligyong-1 reconnaissance satellite was launched last year, marking a significant step forward in strengthening national defense system. With similar satellites scheduled for launch in 2024.

Official stressed to develop it further to make better use of cosmos.
